Our Academic Program
At B & J Wonderland, child care services are offered to children 6 weeks to 12 years old. Your child will engage in age appropriate activities throughout the day. Your child will never watch TV as we are a NO TV program. The teaching method implemented at B & J Wonderland Day Care is learning through play. This method will allow your child to learn through play by exploring, socializing, using his/her imagination, engaging in new experiences individually and collaboratively, with friends.

Activities Your Child Will Engage In
One of our core values is learning through play. Understanding that world is multi-faceted and ever evolving, we make sure to make educative activities as fun and engaging as possible. We believe in creating a family-oriented environment in which activities are group-based, feelings and emotions are considered and the child-like creativity is fully alive. It is part of our mission to provide academic engagement for your child to develop and grow at a pace that satisfies their age groups. We find that academic subjects taught in a creative and invigorating ways can help your child boost their cognitive and motor skills. Our child care providers are trained extensively and are required to update and uphold the curriculum that B&J Wonderland Daycare creates. At any given moment, if we observe that your child needs a modification in their program, we will notify and meet with you.

Child Care services at B & J Wonderland Day Care begin as early as 1 month old. B & J facilities care for up to 12 full time children per day from 1 month to 4 years old.
Throughout the day Students spend time in age appropriate groups where they implement our fun & challenging educational curriculum. They also have the opportunity to engage in activities such as free play, meals, and outdoor time with children of various ages which promotes social development.
B & J Infant Nursery

Free UPK 3
NYC families who have a child born in 2017 can apply to 3-K for All in select School Districts. B & J Wonderland Day Care has partnered with NYC Department of Education to offer High Quality Free UPK 3. UPK 3 follow the NYC DOE school calendar. Classes take place Mon-Fri 8:00am-2:20pm. Before and afterschool is offered at an additional cost.
Pre k 3 & Pre k 4
Children who attend NYC Public & Private Schools for Pre-k 3 & 4 can receive afterschool services at B & J Wonderland Day Care. While at day care our after schoolers are served nutritious snack & Supper. They have home work time to be used as needed to complete school assignments. In addition they engage and interact with other children in different and similar age groups which greatly promotes social skills while participating in fun and educational activities. Best of all most of the days school is closed we are open and your child is able to attend for the full day at no additional cost. If your work schedule doesn’t allow you to drop off your child in the morning, simply inquire about before school services and we will work with your schedule and take upon that responsibility so that you can make it to work on time.

Drop-In Care
Do you need child care for one day, one week, or one month? B&J Wonderland Day Care can be your solution. Drop-In care is available space permitting to children 6 weeks to 10 years old.
24-48 hours notice is required in order to reserve your spot.

Afterschool
If your child is in Kindergarten through 5th grade and enrolled in one of the schools listed below, he/she is eligible to be attend our after school program.
School Age children can attend full days when school is closed.
