My name is Eimy, and I am proud to serve as the Owner and Director of B & J Wonderland Day Care #12, the first B & J Wonderland location serving families in the 10453 community.

My passion for early childhood education began when I was still in high school in the Dominican Republic. During an internship at a small daycare, I discovered how meaningful it was to be part of a child’s earliest years—to teach, nurture, encourage, and help create the foundation they will carry with them as they grow. That experience inspired me to pursue a career in early childhood education.

In 2020, I began my formal studies in early childhood education while also working as a childcare assistant. Despite the challenges of completing my education during the COVID-19 pandemic, I remained committed to my goal and completed my studies in 2022.

That same year, I joined the B & J Wonderland Day Care family as a childcare assistant. What began as an opportunity to grow as an educator became a journey of professional and personal growth within B & J. Over time, I took on greater responsibilities and eventually became Supervisor of B & J Wonderland Day Care #1. In that role, I gained valuable leadership experience while supporting children, families, staff, and the day-to-day operations of the program.

Today, I am incredibly proud to take everything I have learned throughout my journey and begin this new chapter as the Owner and Director of B & J Wonderland Day Care #12.

I believe children learn best when they feel safe, loved, understood, and encouraged. My goal is to create an environment where children are excited to come each day, where learning happens through meaningful experiences, and where every family feels welcomed, respected, and confident in the care their child receives.

I am especially excited to bring B & J Wonderland Day Care’s commitment to quality child care and early learning to the 10453 neighborhood and to build lasting relationships with the children and families in our community.

It is an honor to have grown from a childcare assistant within B & J to now leading a B & J Wonderland Day Care of my own. I look forward to welcoming your family and being part of your child’s learning, growth, and development.
